recognizes and supports outstanding graduate students in NSF-supported STEM disciplines who are pursuing research-based master’s and doctoral degrees at accredited US institutions

  • U.S. citizen, national, or permanent resident

  • intent to pursue Master's or PhD

  • have completed no more than 1 academic year of full time graduate studies (apply as 4th year undergrad or 1st/2nd year grad student)

5-yr fellowship (3 yr annual stipend $34,000 + cost of education$12,000 to the institution)
